DOING BUSINESS WITH CIB

CIB Partners is an importer, distributor and primary service agent for DEWALT, Stanley, FERM, Irwin and Record products in South Africa. We utilise a national network of strategically located dealers with the ability to supply industrial products to professional end-users. CIB provides technical support to all dealers nationwide. We only sell to companies that are registered with the CIPC and are able to supply proper documentation for their company. Your main business trade, as stated on the registration documents, must be resale of tools, equipment or industrial supplies.

Being an Authorised Dealer

Dealers must satisfy a set of requirements specific to each brand in order to qualify as an Authorised Reseller. The application process to become a DEWALT or FERM dealer typically takes 30 days.

New Dewalt Dealers

CIB Partners and StanleyBlack&Decker plan and co-ordinate dealer expansion on an annual basis. We do this to ensure the longevity and long-term success of our DEWALT dealers. Each application is vetted and assessed based on the available opportunities within a specific geographical area or an industry segment.

NEW FERM DEALERS

Since introducing FERM in 2018, we have appointed 30 independent dealers and one strategic electrical distributor. For 2020, CIB Partners has available opportunities for new dealers. If you are a steel merchant, industrial retailer or hardware store, then join this fast growing profitable business.

Trade Accounts

All of CIB Partners terms based accounts are insured by Credit Guarantee Insurance Corporation of Africa Ltd. and any terms granted will be subject to a credit limit being authorized and approved by them. Your first payment will have to be either cash, EFT, or supported card payment (Visa / Visa Electron / Mastercard / Maestro).
