Spring cleaning season is here. Before you start cleaning up your workshop, you may need to buy a new vacuum cleaner.

We’ve introduced a new range of DEWALT vacuum cleaners, to suit the needs of tradesman and DIY’ers. The new range of wet and dry vacuum cleaners consists of a 15L portable vacuum, a 23L and 34L shop vacuum and a 38L stainless steel vacuum.

Here are some of the features that impressed us about the range:

Performance: The vacuums comes with 1100W to 1250W motors that can pull a max 42.5 litres/sec through its 48mm hose. It’s a good balance to ensure you have both airflow and suction in both wet and dry applications.

Durability: The build quality on all four vacuums is really good. All the components are solid, rugged and durable.

Filtration: The filters for the DXV23PTA, DXV34PTA, DXV38SPTA use the unique “Clean Connect” locking system, allowing the filters to be interchanged. They come with a Standard (White) Filter, but you can buy a Fine Dust (Blue) Filter or a HEPA (Green) Filter as an optional extra.

Mobility: The DXV23PTA, DXV34PTA, DXV38SPTA have four 360° rotating caster wheels. This enables the vacuum to swivel and turn around in tighter spaces.

Hose and Cord Management: The power cables wrap easily and securely around the top handle on the 23L to 38L models (DXV23PTA, DXV34PTA, DXV38SPTA). The hose also wraps around the motor housing and is held in place by heavy-duty rubber straps. The DXV15T has a well place cord wrap on the side.
